My name is Evan Duxbury, Registered Dietitian

I believe food can elevate us all, but especially athletes who are evaluated by their physical performance

Clinical Nutrition Experience

Registered Dietitians are unique in Canada as the only medical practitioners who study nutrition over a 4 year university degree and complete 10 months of practice in hospitals.

I completed a BSc in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University and my BSc in Dietetics at the University of British Columbia. I have worked at both St. Paul’s Hospital (Providence Health Care) &Vancouver General Hospital (Vancouver Coastal Health) over the course of my career and am currently registered with the College of Dietitians of BC.

Athletic Experience

I love sport and have competed in many disciplines from powerlifting and soccer to waterpolo and basketball. I’ve completed 2k races in SFU varisty men’s 8+ as well as triathlons & marathons independently.

In short, I know how it feels to “bonk” when you’re near the finish line. I know how hard it can be to add strength & muscle and I know how frustrating it can be to miss a weigh-in. I also know that with nutrition science on your side, these situations can be avoided.
